We are loving this fall weather and the Halloween season. We're getting ready to start exploring the local haunted houses and even a few local homes with reports of paranormal activity.

2014 Scary Halloween Amusement Parks

Haunted houses have taken over amusement parks over the last decade or so. It's an added bonus, too, for the parks as they can extend their seasons into the fall. They always draw a large crowd since they combine two things that people love... rollercoasters and haunted houses! What's not to like? Caution, these are not for the faint of heart and many are geared towards the older crowd (so leave the little ones at home). Check out Travel Channel's list of must visit places!

Top 10 Most Haunted Places in America

Today we are highlighting the Travel Channel's top 10 list of most haunted places. It just so happens that some of our team members have visited (and even spent the night in) the first two locations: Moundsville State Penitentiary and the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, both located in West Virginia.
