Two consecutive pictures in Molly's room (at Miss Caroline's Bed and Breakfast in Saint Augustine, Florida). Maybe the energy from Molly, the little girl that has been rumored to haunt the B&B?

The Man in the Mirror

During Jeremy and Loralie's visit to Saint Augustine, they had the opportunity to visit Miss Caroline's Bed and Breakfast after-hours on the hearse tour (http://www.ghostaugustine.com/). After reviewing their pictures when they got home, they found quite the surprise! A man in the mirror. There was no one else in the hallway and nothing behind Loralie (who took the picture). But you can clearly see a man, facing the side, with his hat and face and arm (see circled in the picture). Very creepy! This place was definitely active. It's unfortunate that it's no longer there.

"She likes to play over here" EVP

Jeremy and Loralie had the opportunity to do some ghost hunting on their honeymoon, in Saint Augustine (Florida). During one of the town's infamous "hearse tours" they stopped at a small bed and breakfast that had repeated paranormal activity from several resident spirits... Molly and Mr. Kennedy, in particular. If you listen to the EVP, you'll hear Mr. Kennedy speak to the medium around 28 seconds (make sure you have your volume up) and you'll hear the medium acknowledge the comment when she says "I heard that." 

Unfortunately, Miss Caroline's Bed and Breakfast is no longer there, which is unfortunate because it was a cute little place and was a hot bed for activity! If you're ever in the Saint Augustine area, be sure to check out the hearse tours -- they are great and lots of fun!

Today we are highlighting the Travel Channel's top 10 list of most haunted places. It just so happens that some of our team members have visited (and even spent the night in) the first two locations: Moundsville State Penitentiary and the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, both located in West Virginia. The Cashtown Inn

Investigators: Jeremy & Loralie

Jeremy and Loralie had the opportunity to visit the Cashtown Inn again in April 2014. They were meeting friends from out of town and decided to introduce them to the inn (though failed to mention to them that it was haunted until the day that they arrived). Woops! This was the second stay at the inn for Jeremy and Loralie, the first back in 2010, when they had the opportunity to stay in the "Heth" room. This time they were staying in the "A.P.Hill" room, which is where Grant from TAPS stayed during their televised investigation.

Being April, there wasn't much going on in the town and occupancy at the inn was light. Friday evening, Loralie and Jeremy were without their friends still and it was probably a good thing because it was a paranormally active night, to say the least!

After being out and about for the day, it was time to get settled for the evening. After hopping into bed and falling asleep, the noises started. It sounded as if the pipes were rattling in an old house when the water was running. Neither of them thought much of it until it began to pick up in frequency and noise level around 2:30 a.m. It was quite the ruckus for such a quiet place. Not thinking much of it, they didn't bother to record the noise (and they are kicking themselves now for not doing so!). The banging eventually stopped and they fell back asleep, but not for long...

Around 5:30 a.m., Loralie was awoken by what felt like someone slowly sitting down on the side of the bed behind her and then leaning back and touching her. Wow! What an experience!!

They brought this to the attention of the inn keeper (Jack) during breakfast (yum!) and he told them a story about when they first bought the place years ago and had someone staying in the room and had a similar experience (needless to say, he didn't stay very long!). They also asked about the banging and Jack told them that it happens quite frequently and it is thought to be of the soldiers banging the back of their guns on the tables in the saloon below that room.

After a long afternoon of exploring town and horseback riding, Loralie requested that the ghosts left them alone on Saturday night (mainly because some of their friends weren't really into the paranormal and they, too, probably wouldn't of made it through the night), and turns out that there wasn't a single noise that night. As a side note, Loralie also experienced what sounded like a lost cat in their room, when there wasn't a cat in sight (ask Jack and Maria about the photograph of the lady carrying her cat that was taken in the breakfast area). Maybe it was the spirit of that cat?

Jeremy and Loralie love visiting Gettysburg and the Cashtown Inn. During a previous visit in November 2012, they had the opportunity to participate in a Paranormal weekend  coordinated by the Cashtown Inn and Double Day Inn. During the weekend, they had the chance to visit the basement area, which has been noted to be extremely haunted by other investigators, mediums, and the inn keepers and staff. The inns offer the "ghost weekend" several times a year, but the October one is by far the most popular and books up well in advance. It is highly recommended if you've never been there.
